Normality

This past weekend was the most amazingly normal weekend in forever it seems and for once I felt like I had a good weekend that was enjoyed. I went back to Alabama to spend some time with mom which was great. It was good to see her and catch up face to face on the phone. She is doing well, really well these days which is awesome. Of course mom would not be mom is she did not ask me "if I am drinking enough water" and so on. I suppose I will know something is wrong when she stops being motherly. Not gonna happen.

As a bonus to the whole weekend I had a chance to spend time with three friends that I have not seen in well over 15 years or so since college and or high school. All of them have kids, families and seemingly have such good lives which makes me happy. Good times all around and it's just a reminder how important it is to stay in touch with close friends. I totally dropped the ball and did not take any pictures. Gotta do better about that.

Yep Michelle, born and raised. Lived here all my life. You?

Boost! You should come out for A-Day. Might be the only chance we get this year to watch Auburn win. Hehe.
