Into July
This week was super slow and I knew that it would be this way. With the Fourth of July on Friday this week was pretty much over COB Tuesday. Thursday got here before I could blink.
Although this week was slow, next week is pretty important. I have big interview scheduled that will end a process that started back in February - amazing to think that for this one opportunity it has taken this long. I suppose that things could possibly drag on even longer after next week and I would not be surprised if they did that for this process. It would just be nice to have some kind of closure for this deal. I would expect that next week will bring momentum on some other deals that I have been working on. Hopefully with people back in the office I can expedite the process with everything else and people will be ready to talk.
Good news with my canopy. I had been having a lot of brutal openings recently that simply were not right. Instead of soft, gentle openings I had been getting some really violent openings, way too many for a canopy with 260 jumps on it. The good news is that the manufacturer could not figure it out after a couple of weeks with it and they will be sending a replacement my way within a couple of weeks. So why not take the opportunity to do a custom canopy?
