Ahh, but have faith as 13 will be better than 25 in the not so distant future, and 25 will be a thing of the past!
Yes, I agree... these numbers will mean nothing in the not too distant future.
And I think that perhaps, in our hearts, a hometown hero will always be number ONE to each and every one of us, no matter what the record books say.
I still remember Carl Yastrzemski, Mo Vaugn, and Carlton Fisk as I was growing up, to name a few. ALL of these guys were huge in my eyes because they made baseball, for me, the best all american sport, bar none.
