The Week of 37

Seven days, and a lot of up and down. Just looking back, it really summarizes life and what it is about. Good and bad. Think less, feel more - I really take that to heart and I have to say that I think I really "feel" after this week. I am awake. I am alive. I have my focus.


I think I will certainly remember this week the most for the time that I spent with Dani and her family. They came in town again and it was really good to see them. We went to dinner on Wednesday night and took a ton of pictures and video. I even hung out with them for ice cream after dinner. Thursday meant everything to me and was the best birthday gift anyone could get. I took the day off with the intention of skydiving but the weather did not allow me to go. Instead I went to see her again. We hugged and I told her that I loved her, and she said the same. I will hold that with me forever.


I really needed Thursday night out with the crew to ease the week up. We did the usual dinner at Lupe and had a blast. I think all the cards that I got this year were tops! I have never gotten so many cool cards. Can't forget about my monkeys from Phain and Fame!!!! Truly a fun night. The weather finally allowed me to jump on Sunday and although I only got three in, each was awesome. I am continuing to get to know the crew down there and I am working my best to impress them and perform. So far, so good! I am doing just that. My third jump of the day was a four way with Sheri, Dawn, and Rob and we turned TWELVE points!!!!! Woo Hoo! That qualifies me for a Double Falcon award. Awesome day!
